BEWITCHED ABOMINABLY

Craziness, madness and fun of next level is the only way of laughing without caring about anything and then, turning to your friend making him part of the same. Friend, the most essential part of the life, the only person after family whom we can call family. We share memories and do dull-witted activities with him like climbing a tree, playing with mud and so many things, left uncounted. One such activity is using nicknames which seemed very cool. Using a different name just to show the bond shared between friends. But, the nickname could result in the possession of friend by someone else which was unknown to Nancy suffered the same.

She was not of a single place; her father was transferred every month to different city because of his job. For some reason this time Nancy's father was transferred to a city for 1 year. Nancy was of jolly nature and made friends wherever she went. She was not attached to people easily as moving to different cities and places and settling there was a big task in itself. But this time she got attached to many people. This was quite exciting as she was having the experience of the bond for the very first time. She had many friend but 2 were very close to her, John and Ruby; however, John was closer to Nancy than Ruby. There has always been a trend for nicknames, so, they decided to pick one for each and started calling each other by those names. Nancy was called as Nan (Pronounced as 'Nun') by her dearest friend John who was called as 'Jo'. The names were fine but the way the John pronounced the name created a mess and the most dangerous creature was attracted as the name invited something horrible and so terrible that the consequences and the nightmares were such that no one would have estimated. The paranormal activities did not take place immediately, although, Nancy used to feel being watched every time. She was not harmed.

Nancy and John decided to go to a picnic which turned into a memory which never should have existed. Who knew that a nickname can harm in such a manner. Nancy, John, Fredrick, Samuel and Ruby were there for the picnic. It was around 3 when they went to the nearby lakeside for picnic and the adventure trip. The water of the lake was very clean so, Nancy jumped into it and started swimming inside the lake. John called her name 'Nan' (Nun) and Nancy was pulled inside the water instantly. John started laughing for a while thinking it is a prank, however he realized in few seconds that she is not playing it. John ran and jumped into water but he was not able to find Nancy anywhere in the lake. The Rescue team was called and the rescue team was also unsuccessful in finding Nancy. She was missing for 13 days and later, Nancy was later found running in the woods for her life. 

A stranger reported that when he found her running and then falling on the ground after stopping abruptly. She was sick and weak. Also, there were many wounds on her body by a sharp objects. She remained conscious throughout each and everything but, she did not speak for days. She was treated with all love and affection and when John called her name 'Nan', after so many days when she abruptly stood up in a shocked state for few minutes and tears were rolling out of her eyes. She was sobbing when she elaborated about each and every mishap that happened with her. She spoke about the incident, when she was drowned. She saw the most horrifying creature inside the water which dragged her to the forest. The creature then took her to the forest and then started scratching on her face with its long nails  and it came near her ear and said just two words 'Hi Nun'. Somehow she managed to escape from the forest, She was tortured by the creature and it kept feeding and punishing her.

After recovering from the event, John found out that the description of the creature was present in the house of a family and one Nun from the Church played a pivotal role in propelling it out of that house. The nightmare has impacted Nancy so much that the incident is still the most terrifying thing she can remember and she often locks her room's door and remains inside for a whole day without eating or drinking anything.
