UNRAVELED CONUNDRUM

Sometimes wounds are so deep that we think and feel that the wounds are healed. But, the person who has suffered that wound only knows that the wound is never going to heal. It is deeper than our minds and the unhealed wound is carried by the victim of the circumstances throughout his life. The mysterious 4 nights of Ralph Doughlous was the most horrifying nights in his life and can shake minds of any person who might get through what Ralph has undergone.

Ralph, a 21 years old, young boy was staying at his friend's place. Ralph's family and Edward's friend's family had gone out for a 4 days holiday trip at USA and Ralph and Edward(Eddy) were working on a project so, they decided to stay back. They were accompanied by Eddy's dog Bruno.

NIGHT 1

The first night, both were playing games on the PlayStation after a long day of work and stress. They ordered a Pizza and were waiting for it desperately. The bell rang and Eddy sprinted towards the door to open that. Pizza boy was also shocked when Eddy just took the Pizza from him and ran inside. Both Ralph and Pizza boy shared a laugh and Ralph paid the bill and by that time half of the Pizza was finished. After, Ralph just sat down to eat the remaining Pizza, he heard the doorbell again and the same Pizza Boy was there with the change to return it to Ralph. Pizza boy saw something so terrifying above Ralph that he fell on his back and  somehow managed to run away with that. The boy was pale when he fell down with expression to near death experience and the coins he was about to return fell everywhere down. Ralph was in a confusion and he also moved from there at the same time because of shock. He saw a black shadow passing near the door. He switched on the lights and told Eddy to check the whole house and there was nothing. The strange thing was that Bruno was hiding under the bed and was not coming out even after calling its name for 4-5 times. It was quite strange for both of them as they found nothing and then they switched off all the lights outside and went back in to enjoy their Pizza.


Bruno also joined both Eddy and Ralph to have its share. Right after eating Bruno got under the bed in an unusual manner. Bruno got under the bed like someone pulled it inside. Ralph found that very strange and looked under the bed. He saw Bruno and two red eyes right beside Bruno. He turned back to Eddy and told him "Come Quick! there is something under the bed with Bruno" and when Ralph looked again there was just Bruno under the bed. Eddy started making fun of him saying that he is hallucinating and all of them went to sleep. Next morning the left boxes of pizza were crushed and there were giant prints of fingers on that. Ralph also complained that Eddy was grunting in sleep which was denied by Eddy as this never took place.

NIGHT 2 

Next night both of the friends were tired and they were willing to sleep right after the meal. They did the same and went to sleep along with Bruno. All three were sleeping in the same room. Eddy and Ralph in two separate beds and Bruno's bed was in between those two beds. The night was the beginning of the horror that was going to tremble the minds of these boys. The night got darker by the time.

Both were in a very deep sleep when they heard Bruno being restless. They were hearing the sound of nails scratching the surface of the floor as if Bruno is trying to dig something. They started hearing sounds what Bruno used to make when he gets angry. Ralph's sleep was getting interrupted so, he got irritated and looked down. Astonished and petrified at the same time since Eddy looked down at the same time and both of them found Bruno sleeping on its bed. The dark adaptation of Eddy and Ralph started vanishing when the room started getting darker and darker. They tried putting efforts to turn on the lights and switch on their flash lights but nothing was functional. The only thing they could do was to be still. Nothing was visible and the scratching sounds were coming closer. Both Ralph and Eddy started screaming each other's name. Bruno was heard howling that time. Then, all of a sudden everything stopped, the visibility was back and Bruno was standing on its bed staring at the dark. The lights were on and they felt relieved after that. Still they were scared so, they joined the bed and went back to sleep along with Bruno. When they turned off the sound, the sound of claws scratching the floor could be heard throughout the night. The night was restless.

In the morning, the floor had the prints of scratching. Ralph and Eddy informed about the incidence to their parents but, no one was ready to believe them. The only option which was left with them was to move from Eddy's home to Ralph's.

NIGHT 3 

All packed and set to go, they were ready to move to Ralph's apartment. With the happy feeling Ralph picked up one bag and was moving to the front door of the house, when the door banged and Ralph was standing still at that moment in a pale condition. Both Ralph and Eddy shared a look and they were aware now that some evil entity is there with them.

Only thing in their mind was the name of god, so they sprinted towards the room which contained the sculptures of god. Eddy and Ralph were of the opinion that they should sleep in that particular room only. All three slept in that particular room only. At 3 A.M. Eddy woke up hearing the sound of something. When he woke up the horror was beginning to take over. The sculptures of god were thrown at the front wall. Eddy tried looking to the place from where the holy god sculptures were thrown and he was shaken for that particular moment when he saw near in the dark there was someone playing with the small sculpture of good giving a demonic laugh. Before Eddy can wake Ralph, the entity in the dark jumped at Eddy blocking his hands. Eddy felt choking and the entity was moving fingers on Eddy's chest.

Screaming loudly Eddy woke up and realized that it was just a dream. Ralph also got up hearing the sounds Eddy was making and then, Eddy complaint about the massive pain on his chest. When he saw the chest in the mirror, there were scratches on Eddy's chest. Ralph and Eddy could not sleep that night. The marks were so deep that blood was seen and it converted into a wound.

All the incidences were narrated and the pictures were mailed to both the families. The families started to believe them and told both of them to move to Ralph's Apartment. They moved to the Ralph's home in the morning itself.

NIGHT 4

The last and the most terrifying face of horror began. In the night both along with Bruno entered into the apartment and the relief was mesmerizing. But, nothing was what it seemed to be. It was the silence before the storm of supernatural. And it began. Both Ralph and Eddy had tears in their eyes feeling that they are free from all the worries. The power was out and they were in dark. Ralph was about to move to check for electricity supply when Bruno started grunting and barking, making the most horrifying ferocious face which was unexpected. Ralph was confused and called the dog's name in a higher pitch "Bruno!". From nowhere, a demonic laugh was heard, the laugh continued and turned into a scream. The chandelier in Ralph's house was shaking as if it is an earthquake.

Seeing all this, Ralph turned toward Eddy and Saw some entity standing in front of Eddy, lifted Eddy. from his forearms. Eddy was not able to scream and was palpitating in that state only. The head of the entity holding Eddy in the air turned towards Ralph. Ralph was feeling the pain in the neck and the blood was coming out of it. The Dog was continuously barking at the entity and the dog was thrown on stairs. The dog started weeping and it was pulled on the first floor. This all happened and Ralph was witnessing all this in that uncontrollable pain. Ralph lost its consciousness hearing the same devilish sound.

Next morning, all three were found unconscious at different places in an unusual manner. There were wounds all over the body of  Ralph and Eddy's elbow bones were broken with the marks of gigantic fingers imprinted on forearms. Bruno was also unconscious and three rib bones of Bruno were broken due to falling on the staircase at Ralph's House.

After 23 days spent in hospital. All three recovered and were not able to adjust in the outer world for several days. The memory is still haunting them.
